Hello From Between Stations Magazine
I have always enjoyed wandering.
Sometimes with a destination in mind, often without one.
Over the years, photography became a way of paying closer attention to the places I passed through: the changing light along a river, a quiet street on a Sunday morning, a market setting up for the day, or an unexpected detail noticed while walking home. I find the random, little things very interesting.
Between Stations grew out of that habit of observation.
Based in the Paris region, I spend much of my time exploring Île-de-France on foot, by train, and occasionally by bicycle. Most of the stories and photographs published here come from those journeys. From time to time, the magazine ventures farther afield to other parts of Europe, but its heart remains close to home.
Each month brings a small collection of features and Random Walks. Some stories focus on a particular place, others on a season, a mood, or a simple observation. Together, they form an ongoing record of the places I have seen and the moments that caught my attention.
This is not a commercial project. It is a personal one.
Part creative outlet, part journal, part photographic record, Between Stations is my attempt to preserve a little of what might otherwise be forgotten.
Thank you for stopping by.
I hope you find something here that encourages you to slow down, look around, and enjoy the journey . . . between stations.
